FREE CONVERSATION SESSIONS - HOT or NOT?

Hello Students

Just writing to inquire who of you'd be interested in attending some free group discussion/conversation lessons. Been planning to have such extra meetings with you for a while, also wondering about the format and length of them. My initial assumptions are 🤔:

- a meeting should be min. 60 mins, and optimally 90 mins so we have time for the intro chat and a little summary at the end
- a meeting should take place in the evening Monday to Thursday (20.00 or 20.30)
- the minimum requirement for the language level should be B1+/B2
- the maximum size of the group should be 6 persons
- I would like us to take something more from the meetings than just language practice, thus subjects should be interesting and fairly universal

To give you a teaser of my idea perhaps - I'd like to run a discussion about identity and the place(s) we have lived in, maybe along such questions as the ones below:

  • How does your hometown shape your sense of identity?
  • What traditions from your region are you most proud of?
  • How do local festivals and holidays influence your connection to your area?
  • What is a local dish or food that you strongly associate with your identity?
  • How do you think the geography of your region affects the people who live there?
  • What historical events from your region have shaped its identity?

Would you be interested in having such a chat?
